Erin Popejoy

Erin works with adult and young adult individuals and couples, who may seek counseling for a variety of life challenges. She has specific experience working with those who are experiencing life transitions (career changes, "empty nesters," divorce, etc.), couples looking to strengthen or better understand their relationship, military families or service members, issues of grief and/or trauma, and addiction or substance abuse.  Erin has training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and in emotionally focused therapy (EFT). She approaches client concerns from a relational and systemic perspective, taking into account the impact that interpersonal relationships and connections, along with other environmental forces, have on our well-being and understanding of ourselves and others.

Erin holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Texas at San Antonio (2015), and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University (2011).  She is fully licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) in Arkansas, and is also a board approved supervisor.

Erin currently lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, children, and several dogs and cats.
