Josh believes everyone has the innate ability to change. His role as your therapist is to facilitate change in areas you want to see improvement. He works from a variety of validating approaches that empowers and motivates his clients in the therapeutic process. Change can often be difficult therefore requiring someone to guide us through the process and develop clarity. The goal is to not alter who you are, but adjust how to respond to a changing and stressful world.
In his therapeutic approaches, he uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Personal Centered Therapy. He has helped those with life adjustments, stress exhaustion; along with those with marital stresses, trauma, grief, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use, and family members with loved ones struggling with substance use and addiction.
You will find scheduling an appointment at his clinic a pleasant experience to make you feel as comfortable as possible, as he strives to build his schedule around meeting your needs and schedule.
